THE 6 DAY CRAZY JOB RALLY STARTS IN BULGARIA ON THE 1ST OF AUGUST... SO THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE A LITTLE OF WHAT I FOUND FOUND OUT ABOUT THE EVENT,AND HOPEFULLY SUPPLY SOME RALLY AND PIC UPDATES THROUGHOUT IT'S RUNNING....

Basic Rules
“Six Days Crazy Job” is an open competition from the National Championship Enduro.

The competition shall be divided in the following classes:
1. Motorcycles “Expert” E1, E2, E3, Overall Single, Overall Team
2. Motorcycles “Hobby” Overall Single, Overall Team
3. ATV “Expert” Overall Single, Overall Team
4. ATV “Hobby” Overall Single, Overall Team
5. Women, Women Team (ATV, motorbikes)
6. Junior

Overall Team is made by two competitors from one and the same category, no matter in which class are competing;
Overall team is valid only for participation in the international part of the competition!
For the Expert, the class of the tracks shall be with higher degree hardness, and length between 180 and 200km per day;
For the hobby, the class of the tracks shall be comparatively lighter and vary between 100 and 180km per day.
For the women, class, the tracks shall be light and vary between 100 and 120km per day;

Registration
The registration and the insurance (only for competitors with temporary license) shall be done at the Stara Zagora, “ART” Hotel from 12.00 to 24.00 (Saturday - 31.07.2010 ) from 8.00 to 11.00 (Sunday - 01.08.2010 )

During the same time shall be accepted also the GPS for entering of tracks:
Participation fee – 650 euro
The fee covers:
-double room bed, for 7 days
-breakfast, 7 nos
-dinner, 7 nos
-formal dinner in the off day
-light breakfast every day of the breaks from 30min, at the midst of the track;
-insurance during the time of the competition;
-commemoration T-shirt;

Saturday, 31.07.2010
12.00-24.00 Registration
20.00 briefing, acceptance of GPS, for entering of the track;

Sunday, 01.08.2010
8:00-11:00 Registration
13.00 Formal opening in the City
14.00 Start of Prologue (20km, on closed enduro-cross track, with X-track elements)
20.00 Briefing

Monday, 02.08.2010
09.00 Start of first stage Navigation. The starting date shall be determined upon classification from the prologue; the time from the prologue shall be also included in the final time of the competition, summing with the time from every following day of the competition!
Time for passing of the track – 6 hours;

Tuesday, 03.09.2010
09.00 Second Stage of navigation. The start is in accordance with the total time cumulative till Monday.
Time for passing of the track – 7 hours;

Wednesday, 04.08.2010
Day Off

Тhursday, 05.08.2010
09.00 Third Stage of navigation. The start is in accordance with the total time cumulative till Wednesday.
Time for passing of the track – 8 hours;
20.00 Briefing, ceremony of awarding, closing ceremony

Friday, 06.08.2010
09.00 Forth Stage of Navigation. The start is in accordance with the total time cumulative till Тhursday.
Time for passing of the track – 5 hours
14.00 - Ceremony of awarding prizes

Specification of motors and ATV
Both single cylinders and two cylinders motorcycles and ATV can participate in the competition. As well as single times and four times
All the machines must be in full working order
The noise from the exhaustion pipe must not exceed 96 dB
Each machine must have front and rear lights
The ones if any riding without lights be disqualified
During registration, each competitor must show his driving license;

Refueling
Each competitor must have fuel for at least 80km. the refueling is done at the specially aimed for that spots of the track;
The refueling is done only when engine is entirely extinguished.
Smoking absolutely forbidden during refueling!

Repairs
The repairing during the competition is permitted, but the time for repair is included in the total time of the competitor. The competitor can replace all the parts of the machine but the chassis.

Navigation
The navigation method is GPS
There must be a sticker on each GPS with the competitive number of each one and both names as per the start list;

Each competitor is obliged to submit together with the GPS a computer connection cable.
For the models: Garmin 60CX, 60CSX and Zumo cables is not necessary.

The GPS must be able of recording track with minimum 3000 points;
Each competitor must record “Track Log” for the referee control
If a competitor deviates for more than 100m form the track, he must return to the deviation point and continue from there. The returning must be done very slowly and closely to the right of the mistaken section!
A deviation form the track for more than 100m shall be punished with 2 hours added unto the total time;

A deviation form the track for more than 100m along more than 1km shall be considered as intentional and shall be punished with 4 hours;

The track checking shall be done through exceptionally precise computer program especially designed for that type of competitions.
At the particularly hard navigation places the navigating through thick forest and sudden deviations from the main road the organizer shall put also additional marking as arrows or red-white signaling tape;

Obligatory equipment:
-GPS
-GSM
-4 nos red signal rockets
-torch
-most necessary medical kit
-water
-map of the track (provided by the organizer)
-spare batteries
-phone number for connection with the organizer;

Starting numbers
The competitor is obliged to mount the numbers give n to him by the organizer, on the front mask of the machine, and on the side covers. The competitor is obliged to put a sticker indicating the sponsor of the competition if the organizer so imposes it.

Order of starting
During the prologue, the competitors classes shall start as follows:
-Junior
-women
-ATV “Hobby”
-ATV “Expert”
-motors “Hobby”
-motors “Expert”

The teams can start both with two, and one GPS and must finish mostly on interval of 30 seconds one from another;

Competitive and technical control
One hour prior the start all the competitors and machinery must be within the range of the technical control
All the machinery must comply the standards of the STVO
The competition is made of prologue and four stages
When passing through populated locations, the velocity should not exceed 50km/h;
The velocity is controlled though the recording “track log” by the GPS!

Check point control
The passing of the track is guaranteed both with GPS, as well as with the number of the taken control points;
Each control point missed is punished with 2 hours.

Prior each control shall be put 3 nos of yellow flags, on every 50m. The control is dressed in red signal jacket.

Prologue
The competitors start the prologue by lot, which is cats in the day of the registration.
The start can be by categories depending on the width of the track.
Each competitor or team must finish minimum one race, so that to have the right of classification.

Start of stages from 1 to 4
During the first stage it is started in the Prologue
In the second, third, and fourth stage, it is started in accordance with the total time form the overall

Break and snack
The break spot shall be situated on appropriate place about the midst of the track. Each competitor there shall receive a light snack and juice ort mineral water. The compulsory break for everybody is 30min. after 30min, the time of the competitor starts again.

Finish
The finishing time of the team shall be calculated collecting the times of both competitors forming the team.
If any of the competitors from the team has not finished till closing of the track, the team does not receive classification.

The competitor is obliged to submit his GPS and the control certificate to the judges immediately after the finish.

Incidents
If a competitor sees another competitor suffering an accident, he is obliged to stop and give aid, if having the knowledge necessary for it and immediately to call the organizers.
In case of technical problem, the aid is not compulsory.

Results
The temporary results shall be announced and posted each evening from 21.00 o’clock in the lounge of the hotel;
The competitor has the right of contestation one hour after the posting of the results.
After that the results are accepted as formal.
The National Championship Enduro, is opened also for international competitors, which participate both in the distribution of prizes and awards, as well as in the distribution of scores from the circles of the championship in Bulgaria.

The Committee Enduro reserves its right to make changes in the Rules, if deemed necessary.
