I am blaming the tyre not my first day riding experience for my stack, hence I need new tyres :)

As for where I ride, today was along the goulburn river, soon it will be bogies/high country.

Don't use an S12 for local conditions Dave.
I mis-voted btw, there's a vote for the 403 that should be for the 404.

404, interesting, the bike shop sells them and recommends them too.

Kind of decided to try these Pirelli Scorpion MX Extra.
Except, nobody has any !
Including the joint next to Berg1.

I sent an email to the Australian Pirelli distributors - heard nothing back.
So, not even Pirelli want to sell me some.

Looks like it's the Bridgstones or Dunlop's again.

Give the 404 a go on the rear, you won't be disappointed.
Then you will be able to compare them to the Scorpians when u get some.
That thing i got at Dargo for the front has been great, i dunno what it is though, it's black and round with knobbly bits protruding from it.
Have a look next we meet at the G or i may look at it later and tell ya.

Just an update.

Managed to get some Pirelli Scorpian MX Extra front & rear.

But, I haven't put them on yet.

I'm still playing with pressures in the Dunlop 952. Seems that lower is much better.
I'd really like to wear this tyre out a bit more before I get rid of it, so we'll see how I go adjusting pressures more.

As Ben said mate, stick 'em on now and enjoy the grip.
Once summer gets here nothing will grip out there so chuck the 952's back on then.
Bring 'em around here and i will fit them for ya, just the wheels and new tyres i mean not the whole bike

Whole bike on it's way.

Thanks mate.

Could you give it a cut & polish while it's there too ? Thanks.
