So glad to hear that you all had an ace time! We are finally home in Melbourne and now cleaning all the clothes that are covered in Mud after the long set up and pull down!

We had an excellent weekend - it was really nice to meet you all! Some of you seemed shocked that I dont actually live in Boolarra - that I am from Melbourne :)

I will email off the feed back forms to everyone ASAP to see what you thought.

Thanks heaps for all your effort Mell & the effort of all the helpers, marshals, land owner, bands, Boolarra Hotel, local buisnesses & sponsors etc.
All much appreciated & as a first event - I recon it went off really well.
I hope the firebrigade will have some more funds now to help out with some equipment purchaces/upgrades etc.
Cheers - Marty :mowlawn:

About 15 minutes into the first loop we were bailed up at a checkpoint to wait for some
mtb'ers to clear the tracks. 10 minutes roughly i think we were held up for.

I had a great ride on Saturday too. I would like to post up some photos here but Gruni (the keymaster) went and smashed himself up before he could give me (the gatekeeper) the secret to posting photos on ORC with my MAC computer  I'll just have to put them on the site that cannot be mentioned :extinguishflame: It was good to catch up with some familiar faces and to officially meet a few more like Blitzem and Robo.

If the Red Light Ride gets a permit next year with the same sort of tracks (SINGLE TRACK :bravo: ) it will be another great ride for sure.

I didnt get any pictures, but i can pretty much some my weekend up into key points!

Before i do i would love to thank, The Town Of Boolara for having us, CFA, DSE, Vicpol, Parks, and all the organisers/marshalls.

Cant really pic anything bad with the weekend at all, can only improve from here on in tho! so i cant wait!

Was great to put some faces to names (Robo, Dazza, Rideo, Carlos, Boots)
And of course meet the usual crew again!

ok So!

Good/Bad/Interesting

*Arriving in the carpark and getting stuck before we were even out of the car
*Not being hungover from the night before!!
*Langers thinking Lavinia Nixon was opening the ride when it was actually Christine Nixon!
*AGMAN winning the quietest bike prize
*Boots trying to start her bike with the exhaust bung in
*The tracks being 80% Single track!
*A bloke on a XR riding along a off camber section of track next to a fence, and then riding/rolling through it (Barb wire)
*Hamburgers for lunch:D
* "Would anyone like the buy a raffle ticket"........"How much for the entire book?"
*Heaps and heaps of give-aways at lunch break, Stubby holders, mugs, t shirts, sun shades,
*Scuba winning a helmet signed by bilko
*Very well marshalled track
*Not noise testing 2 strokes!
*Allllmmoost flipping while doing a 4th gear mono in front of Kwakka
*Jay Stacking twice in 10 minutes! (both big ones too)
*Robo+Husky = Enough said :P
*Camping at Boolara pub was mint as! Got very amongst it
*The band at Boolara pub, and the empty bistro!
*Rideorberidden and his "Ladyfriends" at the pub :P
*Langers doing the roadside AND THEN swag side spew
*Majority of us being drunk!

Cant wait to do it all again!
